Your network infrastructure needs to support daily operations without causing IT headaches.

Computers, phones, security cameras, and printers all need proper connections. We install structured data cabling for commercial properties across Sydney and regional NSW, ensuring your network infrastructure is installed correctly and works when you need it.

Proper installation prevents problems later

Quality data cabling installations are organised, tested, and labelled correctly. We install cabling with clean routes, correct terminations, and proper documentation so your IT team can work with the infrastructure efficiently without tracing mystery cables through ceiling voids.

What gets installed

Network cabling connects your computers, servers, phones, security cameras, printers, and access control systems. We install CAT6 and CAT5e for standard connections, fibre-optic for high-speed requirements, and structured cabling for entire buildings. The installation includes cable management, proper termination points, and testing to ensure everything works before we hand it over.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What's the difference between CAT5e, CAT6, and fibre optic cabling?

Answer

CAT5e supports speeds up to 1 Gigabit and is compatible with most standard office networks. CAT6 supports up to 10 Gigabit over shorter distances and is better suited to higher-performance requirements. Fibre-optic delivers much higher speeds over longer distances and is used when you need maximum performance or when running cables across large facilities. We recommend the appropriate cable type based on your network requirements.

Can you install data cabling in an existing building without major disruption?

Answer

We can retrofit cabling into existing buildings by routing through ceiling voids, wall cavities, or conduits. The disruption level depends on your building’s construction and where cables need to run. We assess the building and plan cable routes that minimise impact on your operations.

Do you coordinate with IT companies, or should we handle that?

Answer

We coordinate directly with your IT team or provider to ensure cabling meets their specifications. This includes cable categories, connection points, patch panel configurations, and testing requirements. One point of contact rather than you managing between two contractors.

How long does data cable installation take?

Answer

Depends on the scope. A small office with 10-20 connection points might take a few days. Larger installations with multiple floors or complex routing can take several weeks. We provide timeframes once we understand your requirements and building layout.

Do you test and certify the cabling after installation?

Answer

All installations are tested to ensure connections work properly and meet performance standards. We provide certification documentation showing test results for each cable run, which is important for warranty purposes and future troubleshooting.

Can you label the cabling so we know which connects to what?

Answer

All cables and connection points are labelled clearly, showing what they connect to and where they terminate. Proper labelling is standard practice and makes future changes, additions, or troubleshooting much simpler for your IT team.
