How long does electrical work take for an office fit-out?

Depends on office size and complexity. A small office might take a few days, larger spaces with multiple rooms and complex layouts can take several weeks. We provide timeframes once we understand the scope and coordinate with your overall fit-out schedule.

Do you work with project managers and other trades?

Answer

We coordinate with builders, project managers, and other trades involved in your fit-out. Electrical work needs to align with construction schedules, so communication and timing matter to keep the project on track.

Can you design the electrical layout, or do we need to provide plans?

Answer

We can design the electrical layout based on your office requirements. If you have architectural plans showing desk layouts and room functions, we work from those to position power, lighting, and data points appropriately.

What happens if we need to change the outlet or lighting positions during the fit-out?

Answer

Changes can be accommodated depending on timing and how far the installation has progressed. Early changes are straightforward, late changes may cause delays and additional costs. We discuss this upfront so you know what flexibility exists.

Do you handle the electrical certificate of compliance after completion?

Answer

We provide all required compliance certificates and documentation once the electrical installation is complete and tested. This is necessary for building approval and occupancy.

Can you upgrade electrical capacity if the building's existing supply isn't adequate?

Answer

We assess existing electrical capacity and arrange level 2 upgrades if you need increased supply from the grid. This is common when fitting out older buildings that weren’t designed for modern office electrical loads.
